Summits

A composition for two trombones, piano, guitar, and optional percussion, “Summits” is inspired by the world's seven summits. On a larger scale, the piece is meant to represent perseverance in times of hardship. Repetitive rhymic figures represent a continuing journey that is met with challenges and obstacles. The piece concludes with a triumphant ending as we reach the summit.
